We honor the life of Alvaro Avila, who was born on December 5, 1944, in Terceira, Portugal, and passed away on November 23, 2024. Alvaro, a skilled baker by trade, spent his life crafting delectable pastries, breads, and confections for his beloved community in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. His creations were not just food, but expressions of love and artistry.

Alvaro is survived by his children, Leslie, Fernando, Cecilia, Joe, Natalie and Al. He leaves a legacy of love with his grandchildren Kassidy, Christina, Elizabeth and Tony and Great grandchildren Karina, Kamila, Amo, Julian and Iliana.

His family invite you to join them for a public visitation on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the Southcoast Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM presided over by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates at the same venue. As we bid farewell to Alvaro, let's remember him not with sorrow, but with the joy and laughter that he brought to our lives.
