FALL RIVER... Alvin W. Philbrick, Jr., age 67, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Hope Health Hospice in Providence, RI. Born in Wareham, MA, Alvin was the son of the late Alvin W. Philbrick, Sr., and Donna M. (Benson) Perry. He moved to Fall River in 2015 after living in Wareham and Buzzards Bay for many years. Alvin worked as a Welder at the Sandwich Power Plant and later in construction and sandblasting and painting. He enjoyed sports, especially softball, baseball, fishing and golf. Alvin was known for his love of the outdoors. Above all, he always tried to be a good friend and had many friends. Survivors include: daughter, Angela M. Philbrick of Old Town, ME, and grandson Aspen M. Philbrick of Brewer, ME; brothers, George P. Philbrick of Tuluksak, AK, and Lucas B. Philbrick of Wareham, MA; and sister, Karen A. Philbrick of Wareham, MA. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, the late Brian M. Philbrick.
