With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Andy Michael Adamson, who left us too soon on August 11, 2026 after a short battle with cancer.

Born on December 1, 1970, in Brockton, Massachusetts, Andy was a beacon of light in every life he touched. A spirited and compassionate soul, his laughter and zest for life were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Despite facing medical challenges, Andy never let any obstacle hinder his spirit or love for life. His strength and determination were an inspiration to all. An ardent lover of rock music and adventure movies, Andy could always be found humming a tune or reciting his favorite movie lines. He loved any body of water but mostly Nantasket Beach in Hull, He was a huge Boston Red Sox, New England Patriot and Bruins fan. His charisma and positivity radiated, making him the life of every gathering. In the words of Albert Schweitzer, "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." True to these words, Andy embodied service and compassion, making a profound impact on the lives of others, particularly his brother, Dennis Baker, and his uncle, Ricky Steele, who mattered most to him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Andes Anderson and Maureen Steele, Andy is survived by his loving brother, Dennis Baker. His spirit will continue to live on in the memories and hearts of all who loved him.

Friends and Family are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Life to honor Andy which will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, the memorial visitation will be held from 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Homes, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723 inside of the Ferreira Chapel. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM presided over by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates.

We invite all who knew and loved Andy to share their memories and upload photos on his memorial page. Each memory shared will serve as a comfort and a reminder of the beautiful life that Andy lived. As we remember him, let's celebrate the spirited, compassionate, and unforgettable man that he was.

The funeral home offers a lighted parking lot which is available on the corner of Boutwell and Pleasant Street, (opposite corner of the funeral home) and our facility has a handicap-accessible ramp and entrance.
