It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Anne Marie Barnes. Anne was born on May 29, 1955, in Boston, Massachusetts, and resided in Fall River, Massachusetts. Known for her unwavering spirit, illuminating smile, and the ability to find joy in the simplest of things, Anne's life was a testament to the power of positivity and perseverance. her presence was truly a miracle to all who knew her.
Anne had an infectious zest for life that was evident in her every interaction. Her most remarkable accomplishment was being a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a pillar of strength and wisdom for her daughter, Shannon Smith, and her granddaughter, Gina Digaetano. Anne's nurturing spirit and unyielding love were the foundations of their strong family bond. Her legacy of love will continue to live on through them.
Anne was predeceased by her loving parents, John and Lillian Barnes, who were her guiding light and inspiration. As she joins them in eternal peace, we remember a quote by Harriet Beecher Stowe, "The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone." Though Anne's physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit and the love she shared with us will live on forever. Her granddaughter was her pride and joy and she loved her so much
She is servived by her daughter Shannon her granddaughter Gina digaetano her sisters Jeannie Hersey and Patricia Gomez her brother John Barnes her niece Michelle Barnes and her nephews Dallas Barnes Troy medeiros deaven Barnes and Robert Barnes
