Anne-Marie (Cornell) DeMoranville, 60 years old, passed away at Morton Hospital in Taunton on March 11th, 2025 after a lengthy and hard fought battle with Huntingtons disease.
Born to the late Betty Ann and Warren Cornell on February 19th, 1965. Raised and educated in Lakeville, Massachusetts.
Anne-Marie never wanted to move out of her home town. Eventually meeting the Love of her life and the man who became her Husband Ronald DeMoranville. Sister to Warren Cornell of Bradenton Florida, Eric Cornell and partner Nonea-Jean Macfarland of Rhode Island, and Christine Cornell Dutra and Husband Leo Dutra of Assonet. Auntie to many nieces and nephews. Mother to the late Melissa Cornell.
She is survived by her husband Ronald DeMoranville of Lakeville. Her children Ronald (38) of Lakeville, Meagan (36) and Her Husband Glenn Benevides of Bradford Maine, Justin (31) and His Fiancee Bianca Troiani of Lakeville, and Alyssa (25) and her Boyfriend Mike McGurn of Lakeville. Along with her 5 Beautiful Grandchildren, Arielle (10), Anthony (6), Justin Jr. (4), Everett(4), and Priscilla (10 months).
Anne-Marie was a graduate of Bryant University and was an Accountant at Parent Bernier for many years. Anne-Marie was a devoted mother who took a job as a Freetown-Lakeville Bus driver when her children were younger so she would have vacations off with them. She enjoyed spending Vacations with her Children and Grandchildren in New Hampshire, going out to eat, watching True Crime Shows, LONG days at the beach, and Iced Coffees from Dunkin Donuts.
She was a devote Christian and attended the Lakeville United Church of Christ for many years. Anne-Marie will always be remembered for how Stubborn, but caring and Supportive she was to her family. In lieu of Flowers the Family asks that any Donations be Made to The Huntingtons Disease Society of America.
Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a public visitation on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA 02723. A Celebration of Life will follow at 07:00 PM inside of the funeral home led by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates
