Anthony "Tony" Soriano, of Westport, Massachusetts, passed away on August 4, 2026,

at the age of 80, leaving behind a family who will forever cherish his memory and the impact he made on their lives. Tony was a strong, hardworking man whose determination and work ethic defined much of his life. He proudly served a period of time in the United States Navy before beginning a long career as a supervisor at Deknatel in Queens, NY where he worked for many years. Through his dedication, leadership, and commitment, he earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.

Tony will be remembered for his unmistakable sense of humor. He was known for his wisecracks, quick wit, and ability to keep family and friends on their toes. He never missed an opportunity for a playful remark or a good-natured tease, leaving behind memories that will continue to bring smiles for years to come. Along with his humor, Tony will be remembered for his strength, hard work, resilience, and the unique personality that made him who he was. 

Tony is survived by his devoted partner, Judy Mendoza, who shared many years by his side and provided him with love, companionship, and unwavering support throughout their time together. He is also survived by Judy’s children, Jimmy, Carl, and Cheryl; his children, Lisa (William), Anthony (Melissa), Tina (Tony), Joseph (Nichole), and Lori (Peter); his cherished eleven grandchildren, Kimberly, Corrieen, Katie, Brad, Vanessa, Angelina, AJ, Peter, Jack, Ava, and Joey: and his Great Grandchildren, Linda, Savannah and William. He is also survived by his sisters, Josephine (Thomas) and Fran (Ollie); his sister-in-law, Sue, widow of his brother Thomas; many beloved nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Viola and Frank Soriano; his brother, Thomas; his sister, Camille; his beloved niece, Denise; and his former wife, Linda, with whom he shared five children and an important chapter of his life. 

Tony's legacy lives on through the family and friends who loved him. His strength, dedication, humor, and unwavering spirit will continue to be remembered by all whose lives he touched. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
