FALL RIVER... Antonio L. Ferreira, 92 of Fall River passed away July 22, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Francelina (Inacio) Ferreira to whom he had been married for the past 67 years.

Born in Arganiel Portugal, he was a son of the late Luis L. and Adelaida Ferreira. He moved to Fall River with his family in 1974.

Mr. Ferreira worked most of his life in construction but prior to his retirement worked for American Tourister. He enjoyed working in his garden and tending to his grapes, making his own wine and above all else, he loved spending time with his family.

Along with his wife, survivors include his daughter Maria Albernaz and her husband Alfredo of Dartmouth; his son Luis Ferreira and his wife Paula of Warren, RI; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, a brother and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and 2 brothers.

Visitation and funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 8 AM from the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, Stafford Road Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
