FALL RIVER... Barbara G. (Jones) Gagnon, 77, of Bristol, RI, passed away, Friday, December 15, 2023, at St. Anne's Hospital. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Austin and Margaret (Hanley) Jones and had lived in Bristol since the late 1990s. Mrs. Gagnon was a social worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts until her retirement in 2009 after 25 years of service. Barbara was a member of St. Mary's Church in Bristol, and she enjoyed the beach, listening to and going to live music, and gardening. She also enjoyed thrift shopping for antiques and vintage clothing. Over the years, Barbara loved her dogs. Survivors include her companion of 29 years Virgil Andrade of Bristol; a son, Wayne Gagnon of Little Compton, RI; a brother, David Jones of FL and his extended family; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband and friend, Wayne Gagnon and partner Paula.
