FALL RIVER...Bernadette T. (Deschene) Carnignan, 98, of Fall River passed away at home on Friday April 12, 2024. She was born in Westport, a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Deschene. She was the widow of the late Arthur L. Carignan. She had lived in the Fall River/Westport area her whole life.

Bernadette enjoyed sewing, knitting, drawing, and enjoyed cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and was very close with her great grandkids Nora & Kallie.

She is survived by 3 sons: Dennis and his wife Gail of New Bedford, Donald and his wife Brenda of Fall River, Danny and his wife Irene of Florida, 12 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Theresa Eager and Deborah Eckersley.

Memorial service to which relative and friends are invited to will be held Saturday April 27, 2024 at 5pm at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St, Fall River. Visitation will be held from 3-5pm prior to the service.
