Born in Taunton, MA, on April 13, 1954, Carl lived a life marked by dedication, discipline, and love.

He passed away on November 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of integrity and kindness. Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Carl was an embodiment of this sentiment, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met.

For 27 years, Carl served as a Correctional Officer for the MA Department of Corrections, a role he carried out with unwavering commitment and profound humanity. His inherent sense of justice, coupled with his ability to empathize, made him a beloved figure among colleagues and those he helped reform. His integrity in this profession was a testament to his character, a quality that extended beyond his work and into his personal life. As Nathaniel Hawthorne noted, "No man can for any considerable period wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which one may be true." Carl's true face was one of honor, respect, and compassion, and he wore it consistently, without fail.

Carl was the beloved husband of Lola Andrade, with whom he shared a blissful marriage since August 9, 1980. Their bond was one of mutual respect, unwavering support, and deep love, a testament to their shared journey of life. Carl is survived by his wife, Lola, who was his rock and guiding star through all of life's twists and turns. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Andrade, who instilled in him the values of honesty, hard work, and kindness that he carried throughout his life.
