Carlos E. Pereira, of New Bedford MA, passed away Friday March 21st at St. Luke's Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Carlos leaves behind his daughters, Amanda Colon of Somerset, MA and Jessica Rodrigues of Lakeville, MA. 3 grandsons (Brayden, Kellan, Zayden) 3 granddaughters (Bailey, Mayzee, Alayna) and 2 other children in Florida. Carlos also leaves behind his sister, Ana Fontes of New Bedford, MA. 2 brothers, Victor Pereira, along with his wife Filomena, of North Dartmouth MA and Joe Pereira, along with his wife Theresa, of Acushnet MA. Carlos also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Deodato Pereira and Maria L. Pereira, his brothers Tony Pereira and Peter Pereira, all of New Bedford, MA.

In his life Carlos loved to fish. He had many occupations over the years including mechanic, fisherman and landscaper. In his last few months he enjoyed playing Keno and with his remote control cars with his sister, Ana. He also loved his daily rides with his nieces, Nicole and Sadie Belanger.
