Carmen Judith Colon of Fall River, a radiant and vibrant soul, left our world on October 25, 2025. Born on November 15, 1962, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, Carmen's journey of life was as vivacious and full of life as she was.

In her professional life, Carmen served as a Safety Supervisor, a role she undertook with extraordinary dedication and passion. Her commitment to creating safe environments extended beyond her workplace and into her community in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was a beacon of hope for many, a woman whose dedication to the welfare of others was truly inspiring. As Maya Angelou beautifully said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Carmen made everyone feel protected and cared for, a testament to her nurturing and loving nature. She loved enjoying the night life, watching football and baseball, camping/cookouts and spending her time with family and friends

Carmen is survived by her loving husband, William Colon, parents Gorge Ortiz and Carmen Torres and their cherished daughter's, late Marisabel Colon, Jesica Colon,  Ana Colon, Clarissa Colon and Adriana Colon, many grandchildren and beloved siblings.

Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at the Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 05:00 PM – 08:00 PM inside of the Ferreira Chapel.

Friends and loved ones are welcome to gather again on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A Funeral Home Service will take place at 12:00 PM inside of the funeral home. The committal service will follow and be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 765 Prospect Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02720, on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 01:00 PM.

Carmen's life was a symphony of love, warmth, and dedication. We invite all who knew Carmen to share their memories and photos on her memorial page, as we celebrate her life and the indelible mark, she left on all our hearts. In the words of Leo Buscaglia, "I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories." Carmen's love has indeed left an indelible imprint in our memories, and she will forever be remembered and cherished in our hearts.
