Carol, who was fondly remembered for her warmth and unwavering dedication, passed away on August 17, 2025. Her life was a living example of the quote, "Nurses dispense comfort, compassion, and caring without even a prescription," as she spent her life serving others with selfless love.

Carol began her career as a Registered Nurse, offering her healing touch to numerous lives in hospitals and nursing homes. Her professional dedication mirrored her personal ethos, always putting others before herself. Her loved ones remember her as a beacon of strength, love, and tireless dedication. Nursing was more than just a job for Carol; it was a calling and a passion that she carried with her throughout her life. She was also a woman of incredible resilience, having been raised in a family that taught her the importance of kindness and compassion. Her parents, William and Catherine Winnett, instilled in her the values of hard work and empathy, which she carried with her throughout her life.

Living in North Attleborough, Massachusetts, Carol was a pillar of her community and an inspiration to all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Flaherty, who inherited her mother's drive and tenacity. Despite the void left by her mother's departure, Paula continues to remember her mother's teachings, strength, and love, which are now her guiding light.
