It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Lauzon, a spirited and resilient woman, on October 1st, 2024. Born on August 14, 1960, in Heidelberg, Germany, to Edward and Gisela Brown, Catherine's life was a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.

Catherine's life was not without its trials, but as Helen Keller once said, "Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it." Catherine embodied this sentiment with an unwavering determination and tenacity that inspired everyone around her. Despite living with a disabling disease, Catherine never let it define her. Instead, she chose to focus on the joy and love in her life, cherishing moments with her loved ones and finding beauty in the everyday.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Gisela Brown.
