Charlene Ann Costa (59) of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Fall River, Massachusetts to the late Albert Costa and Elaine Rodgers. She is also predeceased by her brother Michael Rodgers.

Charlene was full of warmth, kindness, and love, she exemplified those qualities as a care giver to many sickly individuals in nursing homes. In her spare time she could be found antiquing looking for the next big item or interesting piece that would catch her eye.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and fond memories with her two daughters Joelene Brogden and Patrysha Brogden. She was the proud grandmother to Azalea. Charlene also leaves her memory with her siblings Stephen Costa, Renee' Cambra, Rhonda Rodgers, and Justin P, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 10 AM at Espirito Santo Catholic Church located at 311 Alden St, Fall River. Burial will follow with Chapel Prayers in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.

Visitation will be held privately to immediate family.
