Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Cheryl L. Cordeiro, an empathetic soul who spent her life spreading love, laughter, and joy to all who knew her. Born Cheryl Lynn Jackson on October 5, 1974, Cheryl embodied compassion, thoughtfulness, and a love for life that was truly infectious. Throughout her life, she cherished the simple pleasures, like spending time with her mother and her two beloved daughters, Cassandra and Keiley, whose lives she filled with laughter and smiles. "There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor," Charles Dickens once wrote, and Cheryl was a living testament to this truth. Her laughter was a melody that will echo in our hearts forever.

Cheryl's legacy of love and compassion will be carried forward by her daughters, Cassandra (Ernest) Cordeiro, and Keiley Cordeiro; her grandfather, Lawrence Jackson; her half-sister, Kerriann DiRocco; her niece, Alli DiRocco; her nephew, Christopher DiRocco; her son-in-law, Ernest (Cassandra) Mendonca; and her uncle, George Carvalho. Cheryl is now reunited with her father, Anthony Carvalho; her mother, Pamela Jackson; her grandmother, Pauline Jackson; and her half-sister, Krystal Carvalho, in the realm beyond this world.

Friends and family are cordially invited to attend A public visitation which will be held in her honor on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM inside of the Ferreira Chapel at the Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723.

In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Cheryl L. Cordeiro made us all feel loved, cherished, and happy, and she will be deeply missed.
