We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Cheryl A. Lomas, who left this world on January 15, 2025. Born on October 19, 1957, in Fall River, MA, Cheryl lived a life filled with compassion, love, and boundless support for those around her. She was an empathetic soul who touched many lives with her kindness and warmth. A great American poet, Maya Angelou, once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Cheryl embodied this sentiment, leaving a legacy of love and empathy that will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Cheryl dedicated her life to caring for others, working tirelessly as a Certified Nursing Assistant in various nursing homes. Her profound compassion drove her to provide the best care for her patients, treating each with the utmost respect and dignity. It was in these halls of healing that Cheryl's loving nature truly shone. She was a beacon of comfort to those in distress, offering a supportive hand and a listening ear in their most challenging moments. Her dedication to her profession was not just a job, but a testament to her deep-rooted empathy and love for humanity.

Cheryl's heart was devoted to her family including her beloved daughter, Brandi Hebert. Their bond was one of mutual respect, unwavering support, and unconditional love. Cheryl leaves her love with 2 grandchildren Alias De Jesus, and Noah Uchman. She leaves her beloved sister Joy Pavao of Fall River. She was predeceased by her sister Gayle Roy. Their shared laughter, tears, and countless memories that will forever remain in the fabric of their relationship. Cheryl leaves love with her with her nieces and nephews as well.

In her retirement, Cheryl continued to shine her light on those around her. She was a beacon of love and support in her community, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. Her spirit and legacy will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.
