Christine Jean Bellville (Maguire), age 61, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at HopeHealth in Providence, RI with her loving family by her side.

Christine was born on April 20, 1965, in Orlando, Florida, to Richard Sterling Maguire and Roberta Lee Michael. She spent much of her life in Massachusetts, where she built lasting relationships and cherished time with those she loved.

Christine proudly served her country in the United States Air Force from 1983 to 1987. Her service reflected the strength, dedication, and resilience that defined her throughout her life.

She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Roberta Lee Nicolau (Michael) and her stepfather, Edward "Nick" Nicolau. She is survived by her father, Richard Sterling Maguire; her two children; one cherished grandchild; several siblings; many nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Christine will be remembered for her unique spirit and unforgettable personality. She was wonderfully quirky, had a quick wit and a smart mouth that could make people laugh even in difficult moments, and she never hesitated to speak her mind. Those who knew her loved her for her authenticity, her sense of humor, and the fierce love she had for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at HopeHealth Hospice Center for the exceptional care and comfort they provided during Christine's final days.

Friends and Family are cordially invited to attend a public memorial visitation which will be held for Christine on Friday, 17th July 2026, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home, inside of the Ferreira Chapel, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723. A celebration of her life will be held at 7:00 PM presided over by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates. We invite all who knew Christine to join us in celebrating her remarkable life.

In the spirit of Christine's love for sharing stories and creating memories, we encourage you to leave your own memories of her and upload any photos you have to her memorial page. It is in these shared experiences and moments that Christine's spirit will continue to live on. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel," and Christine certainly made us all feel loved and valued.

The funeral home offers a lighted parking lot which is available on the corner of Boutwell and Pleasant Street, (opposite corner of the funeral home) and our facility has a handicap-accessible ramp and entrance.
