Christopher
Kilbride
Feb 6, 1959 — Jul 23, 2026
Oh boy, where do we begin with our beloved Christopher Ralph Kilbride, or as most knew him, Christopher? Born on February 6, 1959, in Boston, Massachusetts, Christopher managed to cram 67 years of laughter, carpet installation, Sinatra sing-alongs, and hat collecting into his time on this planet.
Those who knew Christopher would agree with Sinatra when he sang, "That's Life," because that was precisely how he saw it – full of ups and downs, but always worth the ride. A carpet installer by trade, he laid the groundwork for many homes in Maui, and in his own way, in our hearts. The man had a rhythm for life, whether it was manifested through his ice-skating, drumming for the Brighton youth band, or belting out tunes during karaoke night. It's often said that a man is known by the company he keeps, and in the case of Christopher, it was his hats. Each one of his hats was a token of connection to his grandfather, making his hat collection something more - a legacy.
Christopher, a man who could find humor in the mundane and make any moment lighter with his quips, is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Kilbride; his sister, Carla Rodrigues; his step-brother, George; his cousin, Niki Ostis; his brother, Flavio Terzis; and his niece, Sarah Angel. He now joins his father, Robert Kilbride, in the great beyond, where we're sure they're having quite the chuckle.
Let's remember Christopher the way he would've wanted – with a smile, a song in our hearts, and maybe even a hat on our heads. "As sure as I'm sittin' here, that's life," Sinatra sang, and that's precisely how Christopher lived it. So, let's honor him by living our lives the same way. Please share your memories, anecdotes, and photos of Christopher on his memorial page to keep the laughter, the music, and the love alive.
