FALL RIVER... Corey M. Maitoza, age 35, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.

A lifelong resident of the city, Corey was the son of Paul Souza and Brenda Maitoza. Corey was very happy and loved by his fiance and soulmate of 14 years, Jennifer Paiva.

Corey loved spending time in the outdoors, especially hiking and fishing. He enjoyed traveling and exploring different places. Corey loved to hang out with his friends.

In addition to both parents, survivors include: brother, Justin Souza of Fall River, MA; sister, Amanda Maitoza of Fall River, MA; a maternal grandmother Patricia Maitoza of Fall River; a niece, Janessa; and a nephew, Anthony.

Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held at 7 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA, 02723. Visitation will take place from 5 PM to 7 PM prior to the memorial service.
