Obituary

Crystal Marie Rebelo, entered this world on the 19th of February, 1986 in Providence, RI, USA. As the embodiment of love and compassion, she was a beacon of light that shone brightly through the darkest days. Her unabashed love for her children, her undying loyalty to her family, and her zest for life were evident to all who knew her. Crystal's thoughtfulness was legendary; she frequently put others' needs before her own, often going out of her way to ensure the comfort and happiness of those she loved.

Her love for Spanish music and her passion for dancing were infectious, often leading to impromptu dance parties with those she loved. Crystal brought joy and laughter wherever she went, and her spirit was as vibrant as the music she loved.

Crystal is survived by her beloved children, Riley Marie Rebelo, Chase Washington, and David Washington, who were the center of her universe. Crystal also leaves behind her loving siblings Fatima Rebelo, Nakisha Nair, Daniella DaSilva, and Catia Martins, along with her brother-in-law, George. She is survived also by her father Manuel Rebelo and Mother Idalina DaSilva, and her beloved stepfather Carlos Vieira, who will forever cherish the memories of their loving daughter. Crystal also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and cherished cousins and extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to attend her public visitation which will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM inside of the Ferreira Chapel at the Southcoast Funeral Home, located at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723. The Celebration of life will be held at the same location at 10:00 AM presided over by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, inside of the funeral home presided over by Father Arruda.

We invite you to come and celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman, who lived her life with such passion, love, and compassion.

The funeral home offers a lighted parking lot which is available on the corner of Boutwell and Pleasant Street, (opposite corner of the funeral home) and our facility has a handicap-accessible ramp and entrance.

Please share your favorite memories and photos of Crystal on her memorial page. By sharing these moments, we keep her spirit alive and help each other through this difficult time. As we remember Crystal, let us not forget the words of Helen Keller: "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Crystal may not be with us in person, but she will forever live in our hearts.
