Daisy Maldonado Torres passed away on April 12th, 2026. Born on November 7th, 1966, in the town of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, Daisy's vibrant spirit and empathetic nature were imprinted on her life's canvas.

Daisy was a woman whose heart was as expansive as her smile. Her family was her pride and joy, and she was the radiant light of every gathering. Her ability to bring people together, making everyone feel welcome and cherished, was a testament to her loving nature. Daisy is survived by her daughter, Jessica Rodriguez, son-in-law, Raul Velez, and grandsons, Raul and Jacob Velez Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmelo Maldonado and Maria Torres, and her husband, José Rodriguez. Her legacy of love and unity continues to resonate, touching the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

Public visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at 9:00AM inside the Ferreira Chapel at Southcoast Funeral Homes located at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723. The funeral service will commence at 11:00AM at the same venue. A Committal Service will follow at 12:30PM at Oak Grove Cemetery, 765 Prospect Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02720.
