Darlene A. Corey passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, after a long illness.

She was born on April 18, 1949, to William and Constance Thurway in Lancaster, New Hampshire.

Over the years, Darlene resided in Plymouth, Massachusetts; Minnesota; and most recently, Somerset, Massachusetts.

Darlene was known for her love of horses, reading, and especially her love of angels. She had a great talent for making angels and enjoyed sharing them with the special people in her life. She was so full of life, and it showed in her personality.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael S. Corey, with whom she was married for 42 years and shared a total of 47 years together.

Darlene was the mother of David of Vermont; the late Daniel of Plymouth; Donald and his wife, Amanda, of Plymouth; Dale of Vermont; and her daughter, Michelle, of South Dakota, as well as her daughters-in-law, Diane Glass and Wendy Glass.

She was a loving grandmother to Brendan, Jenna, Christopher, Rebecca, Connor, Abagail, Liam, Amara, and Alandra, as well as three great-granddaughters.

Darlene was the youngest of six children: Mayland, Dennis, Roger, Theod, and Diane.

In accordance with Darlene's wishes, there will be no services.

Services are humbly entrusted into the care of Southcoast Funeral Homes at Ferreira Chapel "Celebrating A Life Well Lived"
