David Cordeiro, affectionately known as "Pops," was truly one-of-a-kind. Born in Fall River, MA, on July 21, 1936, his life was an embodiment of spirited dedication, love, and support. His personality was as vibrant as his birthplace, and he carried this energy with him throughout his life, touching everyone he met. David was a man of genuine warmth, whose love for life was as infectious as his love for dancing and playing pool. As the Greek philosopher Heraclitus once said, "Character is destiny," and David's character was indeed his destiny; he was a man who lived his life to the fullest, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him.

David's dedication was evident in every aspect of his life. He was a loyal and proud milkman who served his community with a level of commitment that was truly inspiring. His passion for his work, like his love for the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins, was apparent to all who knew him. The same dedication extended to his love for his fish tanks, which he tended to with the same care and attention he gave to his friends and loved ones. His involvement with the VFW in Tiverton, Rhode Island, and the Bay View Holy Ghost Club, speak volumes about his commitment to fellowship and community service.

David was not only a dedicated professional and community member, but also a loving father and partner. His son, David Cordeiro, and his late wife, Patricia, were the center of his universe. He found immense joy in spending time with his girlfriend, Pat, and their adventures together formed an integral part of his golden years. Although he was preceded in death by his parents, David Sr. and Elizabeth Cordeiro, his sister Angela Cordeiro and brother Thomas Cordeiro. David's legacy of love, support, and spirited engagement with life will live on through his son and all those who had the honor of knowing him.

There will be a memorial service for David Cordeiro at the Woodrow L. Silvia VFW Post 5392 at 134 Shove St, Tiverton, RI 02878 on February 9th, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, all friends and family are welcome to attend.

Though David Cordeiro may have left this world, his spirit lives on in the memories we shared with him.
