David Farrar recently passed away in his garden with his beloved pup Travis by his side.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher Wilson of Johnston RI and David Farrar Jr, of Newport RI. He also leaves his sister, Crystal Gould and her husband David of North Marshfield MA; his brother from another mother, Steven Fitch of Westport MA; his ex-wife turned close friend, Dianne Farrar, and granddaughters Ali and Neveah.

Dave touched the lives of many with his caring nature which he hid below a gruff exterior. Quoting one of his treasured friends- Dave was one in a million- sharing kindness, sweet mannerisms and hilarious self-deprecating humor. He loved spending time with a couple of close friends and his sons in his backyard. He enjoyed listening to the blues and hard rock while watching birds at his feeders and he was a life-long fan of the New England Patriots- even in their losing seasons.

He will be dearly missed by those close to him. In lieu of flowers, please do something kind for other people. A celebration of life will be held at a later date
