It is with a heavy heart that we announce the loss of Deborah Oliveira, (69) of Fall River who passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Sarah Brayton Nursing Center.

Born on April 3, 1955, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Deborah was an emblem of charisma and kindness in a world that often needed it. Her thoughtful nature and supportive demeanor were an inspiration to everyone who had the fortune of knowing her. In the words of Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Deborah truly embodied this sentiment, radiating love and warmth to all those around her.

Deborah dedicated her life to the Fall River Florist Supply, where she served as a Manager until her retirement. Her charisma and leadership skills were unmatched, making her a beloved figure in her work environment. She was the kind of person who could light up a room with her infectious smile, making even the most strenuous workdays seem a little bit brighter.

Deborah was a woman of simple pleasures. Her love for cooking, especially her signature beef stew and chourico meat, was only surpassed by her love for her family, whom she treasured immensely. Her fondness for movies, scratch tickets, Friday fish and chips, and the Fall River staple Chow Mein sandwiches were the little joys that made her life so vibrant. As Albert Einstein once said, "I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious." Deborah's passion for life was evident in her hobbies and the joy she derived from them.

She is survived by her niece, Shelly Santos, and her husband Richard Santos of Fall River, she will remember her aunt's loving spirit and charisma. She leaves her legacy of love, laughter, and goods times with her brother Russell Oliveira of Fall River, two nephews Brian Oliveira and Ronald Oliveira both of Fall River, great nieces Alyssa Santos, Holly Laliberte, her husband Corey, and Lindsey Santos all of Fall River, Great-Great niece Autumn Resendes of Fall River, 2 Great-Great nephews Thomas R. Kozak, Teddy Laliberte both of Fall River, and godchild Lisa Wood of Somerset. Deborah was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Antone and Dolores Oliveira, and brother Kenneth Oliveira.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 04:00 PM - 07:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM inside of the St. Michael's Catholic Church, Essex Street, Fall River, followed by a Committal Service at 11:00 AM inside the ground of the St. Patrick's Cemetery, Robeson Street, Fall River.
