It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores Rita Joaquim, beloved mother, sister, and friend, on June 17, 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Born on February 26, 1962, in San Diego, CA, to Rita Bushman, Dolores was a beacon of resilience, love, and kindness that extended far beyond her hometown. Her spirit, much like the famous words of Helen Keller, was truly invincible, "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved."

She is survived by her three sons Josh Joaquim, Bobby Joaquim, Martin Joaquim and her sister Donna. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, and the many friends she left behind.

Dolores was predeceased by her parents, Rita Bushman and her father.
