Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on the 19th of March, 1968. Donald had the art of making people laugh and forget everything wrong in the world. His quips and comic timing were as solid as the homes he built, and his spirit was as sturdy as the foundations he laid. In his 57 years, He managed to pack in more jokes, adventures, and humble acts of thoughtfulness than most could manage in several lifetimes. Donald was a man of many talents, but his greatest was his ability to make people feel at ease, whether he was constructing a home, or crafting a joke. He was renowned for his infectious laughter that came with many bad dad jokes. His adventures took him from the shores of Massachusetts to the beautiful landscapes of South Carolina, making friends, and leaving laughter in his wake. He was more than just an adventurer he was a joke teller, a story weaver, a mentor, a friend, and a father.

Donald is survived by the pillars of his life, his daughters Megan and Natalie Margarita, who inherited their father's adventurous spirit and his gift for humor. His legacy continues in his grandchildren, Alona, Kyler, and Oliver, who will undoubtedly carry on his tradition of humor and adventure. He is also survived by his father Donald Margarita, his mother JoAnn Margarita, and his step-father Alan Costa, who instilled in him the values of humility and thoughtfulness that he carried throughout his life.
