Doreen left this world on September 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and an unyielding zest for life.

Doreen was a woman of many talents, but her passion for kitchen designing stood out the most. She was not just a designer; she was a creator of spaces where memories were made, where families gathered to share meals, laughter, and love. She crafted kitchens that were the heart of the home. Her designs were a reflection of her personality - warm, inviting, and full of life. "The details are not the details. They make the design," Charles Eames once said, and Doreen truly believed and lived by these words. Her keen eye for detail and her ability to transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary ones were what set her apart in her field.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lee Hascup, who stood by her side, supporting and cherishing her in all her endeavors. She is predeceased by her father, Fred Shantre, and mother, whose love and values shaped her into the extraordinary woman she was.

Doreen's life was a testimony to her indomitable spirit, her creative genius, and her deep love for her family and friends. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
