FALL RIVER... Dorothy M. (Beland) Daylor, 75, of Fall River passed away September 22, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. She was the widow of Robert J. Daylor to whom she was married for 33 years, prior to his passing. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Jessie (Medeiros) Beland. She had been a lifelong resident of this city. Mrs. Daylor was a communicant of the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption. She devoted her life to her family, raising 4 boys. In her later years, she enjoyed playing online computer games on Pogo, sitting on her porch with her friends and spending time with her growing family. Survivors include her sons: Robert J. Daylor, Jr, Richard Daylor (wife, Kelly), Dennis Daylor (companion, Melissa Dubois) and Nicolas Daylor, all of Fall River; her sister Dolores Amaral (husband, James) of Fall River; 3 grandchildren: Ashley Fursa, Bethany Dubois, and Jeremy Daylor; a great grandson Jaycen Daylor; along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert and Arthur Beland. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 9 Am at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723, with a service to be performed in the funeral home at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday, September 26, 2022, from 6 - 8 PM.
