Douglas John Dopart, born on May 28, 1964 in the vibrant city of Fall River, MA, was a man of simple pleasures and boundless love. As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation." Douglas lived this sentiment, finding joy and purpose in his love for bike mechanics and his long-time work at Swan Dismissing. His infectious sense of humor and the way he embraced life fully, "working hard and playing hard" are qualities that will forever be remembered by those fortunate to have known him.

Douglas was a dedicated Raiders football fan and a fishing enthusiast, both hobbies showcasing his love for strategy and relaxation. His passion for tattoos was a unique expression of his individuality and an art form he deeply appreciated. He was a beloved husband to his wife, Despina "Dessy" Dopart of Tiverton and a cherished father to his daughter, Brianne Dopart, also of Tiverton. His step-son, Richard Monis of Florida also held a special place in his heart. Douglas was a beloved brother to Carl and Suzanne of Las Vegas. His niece and goddaughter, Kelsie Ann Dopart of Florida, will remember him as the fun-loving uncle who was always ready with a joke or a story.

Douglas was preceded in death by his father, John Dopart, and his brothers, John Oaks and Todd Dopart. However, his memory will continue to be a source of strength and comfort for his surviving family members, including his mother, Patricia Dopart of Fall River, and his extended family and friends spread across the country.
