Douglas Arthur Perry, 70 of Onset passed away peacefully after a long illness on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Born in Brockton MA on January 19, 1955 to Rita E. (Fortin) Perry & Arthur M. Perry, he attended St. Patrick's School grades 1-6 and then West Junior High School in Brockton. He was a graduate of Brockton High School class of '73.

Upon graduation he worked at General Dynamics Quincy Ship Yard , and George's Cafe in Brockton. He also worked installing pool covers in later years. In his off time, he worked summers as a line cook at his family's restaurant, The Holland Inn in Onset, MA for 25 seasons. He loved fishing on the Cape Cod Canal and the Weweantic River in Wareham.

He will be truly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by three sisters, Donna Adamaitis and her husband Ronald of Naples Florida, Diane Elliot and her husband John of West Yarmouth, and Deborah Ikkela and her husband Jack of Onset MA, a Brother David Perry and his husband William Fortier of Sandwich, and Dennis Perry (pre deceased) and his wife Lucinda of Lakeville. He also leaves behind many beloved Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, and Great Nephews.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Kimwell Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Fall River for the care Mr. Perry received.

Per Mr. Perry's wishes, no services will be held.
