Edward Patrick Branco, affectionately known as "Eddie," of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on September 22, 2026 at Hope Hospice Center following a severe allergic reaction. Born on May 24, 1955, in Fall River, MA, Eddie's life was marked by his talented, funny, loyal, and resilient spirit.

Eddie was a talented musician and an avid fan of all New England sports teams, especially the Patriots. He loved playing cards, cribbage, and sharing his music with others. After graduating from Somerset High School in 1973, where he was a notable football player, Eddie worked for the local laborers union at Somerset power plant, General Dynamics, and also delivered "Home Finder" books to local businesses for his brother's company, New England Bulletin. Eddie took great pride in his band, "Second Sun", where along with his dear friend John Botelho, they traveled around playing at local establishments. Known for his unmatched harmonizing, Eddie was a self-taught guitarist who could learn a tune by just hearing it once. Eddie was most proud of his role as "Poppy" to his beloved grandchildren and his loyal King Charles spaniel "Pasquale", whom he never left home without.

Edward is survived by his daughters Sarah Moura (Peter) and Jessica (Jason) Caron; his step-son, John (Sonya) Montgomery; his siblings Donna (Richard) Valeriana, Sally (Shawn) Briere, and Timothy (Mary) Branco; his grandchildren Hannah (Jason) Medeiros, PJ Moura, Abigail Caron, and Nicholas Caron; and his great-grandchildren Jaxon Edward Medeiros and Iris Toni Medeiros. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Dorothy Branco, his partner of 47 years Toni Neubauer, and his brothers Richard and Kevin Branco and many nieces and nephews.
