Edward "Ed" Kosinski, 75, of Goose Creek, SC, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at home on December 31, 2025.

Born December 31st, 1950 in Fall River, Massachusetts, Ed was the loyal son of the late Edmund and Josephine Kosinski. His brother Paul Kosinski predeceased him in 1998.

Ed grew up in a Polish household filled with tradition and pride. As they were close in age, he and his brother Paul shared a close bond in childhood and beyond. Ed was a graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School. Gifted with a technical mind and an aptitude for math, he later graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Roger Williams University.

Following graduation, he began a lengthy and successful career as a civilian contractor for the United States Department of Defense. The majority of his 32-year career was spent working for General Electric and its successor companies in the naval defense industry. His work allowed him to travel the globe and forge strong friendships with his colleagues and fellow travelers.

He lived in several areas across the United States, including New England, the Pacific Northwest and the Southeast, as well as Scotland and England. In 2005, he retired from General Dynamics and settled in Goose Creek, eager to spend his retirement in the warm South Carolina sun.

Ed enjoyed rooting for his favorite Boston sports teams, watching old movies, golfing, and spending time with his close friends and neighbors in South Carolina. He was an enthusiastic landscaper and took great pride in tending his pool and yard. He also took pleasure in trips to his hometown to visit family and friends, share old stories about his father's butcher shop (Kosinski's Market), and enjoy his favorite traditional Polish foods.

Ed is survived by his sister-in-law Linda Kosinski (Pittsfield, Mass.), niece Stacie Kosinski and her husband Chad Mazza (Arlington, Mass.), nephew Matthew Kosinski and his wife Amanda Kosinski (Melrose, Mass.), great nephews Paul Kosinski and Samuel Mazza and great niece Abigail Kosinski, as well as countless friends, neighbors and relatives in Massachusetts and South Carolina.

A memorial visitation for Ed will be held on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM the Southcoast - Boyko Funeral Homes, inside of the Ferreira Chapel, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 11 AM. The committal service will be held at 12:00 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery and Mausoleums, 1540 Stafford Road, Fall River, Massachusetts.

Ed's life was a testament to the power of nurturing, of growth, and of enduring love. His legacy remains in the hearts of those he touched.
