Edward Viveiros, born on July 20, 1936, in Fall River, MA, was a man of courage and compassion, a loving father, and a talented carpenter. Edward was a selfless individual whose profound love for his family was a testament to his generous heart. Throughout his life, Edward embodied the essence of the saying, "The measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

Edward's talent as a carpenter was not only his profession but his passion. As a self-employed craftsman, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and serve his community. His hands, strong yet gentle, created works of art that were as beautiful as they were functional. His woodworking skills were a testament to his dedication, not only in his craft but in every facet of his life. But Edward's truest joy was found in the time spent with his children and grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter and love.

A proud United States Army Veteran, Edward served bravely during the Korean conflict. His courage was not only seen on the battlefield but in the way he faced life's challenges. His compassionate spirit was seen in his love for his family and friends. He truly lived by the Catholic verse from 1 Corinthians 16:14, "Let all that you do be done in love."

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joaquim and Mary (Medeiros) Viveiros; his beloved wife, Muriel; and his siblings, Raymond, Evelyn, and Carol, and granddaughter Alyssa Correira. Edward's legacy will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him and the community he served.

Edward is survived by his daughter Sharon Rice and her husband Christopher Rodrigues of Norton, daughter Sherri Correira and her husband Arthur of Rehoboth, son Edward (E.J) Viveiros Jr of Somerset, son Steven Viveiros and his wife Christine of Rehoboth, grandchildren Arthur Correira Jr, and his wife Abigail, Jacob Viveiros and Zachary Viveiros, and great grandchild Logan Correira. He also leaves his significant other Madeline Barboza.
