Elaine (Medeiros) Rezendes, 84, of South Dartmouth passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Medeiros and the late Helen Medeiros. Elaine was the loving wife of 62 years to Gilbert (Sonny) Rezendes Jr.

Elaine will be missed by her family, husband Gilbert (Sonny) Rezends Jr., daughter Sheryl Rezendes-Sears, sons Gilbert Rezendes III, Kevin Rezendes and his wife Holly, and Robert (Bob) Rezendes, her grandchildren, Ryan, Jared, Gilly, Nathan, Brent, Noah, Jillian, Tabitha, Katie, Christian, Dylan and Trevor, and seven great grandchildren, Rylie, Sydnie, Gabe, Joey, Brayden, Jackson and Levi, her brother Arnold Medeiros and his wife Barbara, brother Frank Medeiros and his wife Diane, her sisters-in-law, Julia Serpa, Lillian Pereira and her husband Ronald and Diane Tavares, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Pereira and her husband Nat and her brother the late Daniel (Danny) Medeiros and his wife Cynthia.

Elaine enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Being around her family was very special to her. She loved doing crafts, cooking for her family, family gatherings, holidays and going out to eat with her husband. Elaine loved to draw and was a skilled artist, creating drawings of family, friends and her favorite celebrities.

In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and a celebration of life will take place in the summer season.
