FALL RIVER... Elsa (Wong) Li, age 63, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River, MA. Elsa was the beloved wife of Yang Li of Fall River.

Born in Taishan, Guangdong in China, Elsa moved with her husband to Massachusetts 40 years ago. She was known by all as a hard worker and worked in a variety of fields, including as a sushi chef for Whole Foods. Elsa loved singing, gardening and cooking. She spent many hours in the kitchen with her daughters, enjoying time together and teaching them to cook. Elsa also liked to unwind watching TV, especially Chinese dramas. She loved to travel with her husband and together visited many places, including Las Vegas, Canada, and Shanghai. Most of all, Elsa cherished time spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, survivors include: daughters, Tammy Pontes of Fall River, MA and Samantha Li of Boston, MA; one brother of Brazil; fours sisters of China; grandson, Rowan, and a granddaughter on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
