FALL RIVER... Evelyn Morales Vargas, age 75, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Evelyn was a daughter of the late Felix Morales and Carmen Morales Vargas. Evelyn worked for many years in health care, in particular, hospitals and nursing homes. Before her retirement, she started her own business in nursing home care. She moved to Fall River, MA in 2017, where she was active in senior activities and events. Survivors include: sisters, Nereida Morales Vargas and Lydia M. Morales Vargas of Puerto Rico, and Delia Morales Vargas of Florida; brother, Oscar Diaz Vargas of Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
