NEW BEDFORD... Florence Rudnik, 88 of Fall River, formerly of New Bedford passed away January 11, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital. Born and raised in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Bertha (Wiencek) Rudnik. Florence could often be found walking in downtown New Bedford where she would frequent McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts and her beloved Our Lady's Chapel where she always sat in the last pew with her bundles. She was a gentile woman with a soft voice that always a story for you. She is survived by many dear friends. Ms. Rudnik's burial will take place Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 11 AM at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2233 Robeson Street Fall River, MA 02720. A Mass will be said in her name on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at noon at Our Lady's Chapel, 600 Pleasant Street in downtown New Bedford.
