Gerald
Caron
Oct 25, 1940 — Oct 24, 2024
Gerald Caron of Westport, MA passed away hours before his 84th birthday on October 24, 2024.
He was the loving brother of Denise Caron and Uncle of Lia Benevides, his care takers.
Gerald was known to many as "Uncle Jerry". He loved being surrounded by nature, whether it be hunting, fishing or just sitting on the dock he built enjoying his beautiful surroundings. Despite his Alzheimer's disease there were always two things he remembered, where he lived (as he called it, my beautiful mansion) and his mom (or as he called her, "Ma!").
Uncle Jerry loved to throw parties at his South Watuppa Pond property. He loved having family and friends over and even a stranger or two that he met while shooting the breeze. He loved animals, especially his German Shephard, King. Another pride and joy of his was the Palmer River Clam Shack, where he worked as a jack of all trades. He was always the first one in and didn't leave until he felt no one else needed help. One of his proudest moments was when he received the "Employee of the Year" award. He displayed it proudly.
He will be sorely missed by many. Uncle Jerry was proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Louise (Moreau) Caron and his sisters, Doris and Elaine Caron.
Following Uncle Jerry's wishes services will be private.
Services are humbly entrusted into the care of Southcoast & Boyko Funeral Homes, "Celebrating A Life Well Lived"
