Born in Taunton, MA on April 25, 1941, to his parents, the late Henry Mathieu Sr. and Ellen Mathieu, Henry was a man of remarkable character and strength, a beacon of wisdom, and a true friend to all. He spent the majority of his life in Berkley, Massachusetts, where he built a legacy of love and accomplishment.

Henry was a self-made man who believed in the dignity of hard work and the thrill of creation. He was the proud owner of Syntron, a successful Middleboro-based business that was his dream and his passion. As an entrepreneur, he embodied the words of Helen Keller, "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." Despite his demanding career, Henry always prioritized family and friends. He had an infectious sense of humor and a heart full of kindness that made him a joy to be around.

Henry's legacy lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind: his ex-wife Carmen Gonzalez, his daughter Donna Henry, and his cousin Robert Gomes. Each of them will remember Henry for his unwavering spirit, his boundless love, and his unique ability to turn challenges into opportunities. His memory will be a lasting treasure, a beacon of light guiding us forward.

As we mourn the loss of our beloved Henry, we also celebrate his incredible life and the countless ways he touched our hearts.
