Born to Walter and Georgianna Ellison on November 25, 1946, in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

James was an indispensable part of St. Luke's Hospital as a maintenance worker, ensuring the smooth running of the institution and being a beacon of encouragement and positivity for everyone he interacted with.

Preceded in death by his father, Walter Ellison, and mother, Georgianna Ellison, James leaves behind his dear sister, Marie Lauzon of Nevada.
