Obituary

Jeanne Pereira, (Budzisz), was born on February 13, 1959, in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was a beacon of joy, love, and the embodiment of amusement. She was a woman of strength and fortitude, a constant figure of support and warmth in the lives of those she loved. She lived every day with laughter and a steadfast belief in the power of family. The quote, "The love of a family is life's greatest blessing," truly encapsulates the essence of Jeanne's life. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Pereira whom she is now reunited with.

Jeanne spent many years working diligently as a Medical Billing Specialist for Travelers Insurance before her well-deserved retirement. Her spirit, however, never retired from being the heart of her family, constantly throwing parties, arranging family nights with pizza and grilling, and most importantly, hosting weekly slumber parties for her beloved grandchildren. Jeanne was known for her love of gardening, camping, and karaoke. She was a regular at the Liberal Club and The Oriental Pearl of Westport, where she not only enjoyed the Chinese food but also the karaoke. She was not known for her cooking, but she was famous for her great variety of take-out options. Her frugality was legendary, always on the hunt for a good deal. Her visits to the senior center, despite not acting like a senior, were filled with joy and laughter.

Jeanne leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. Her daughter Angela and her husband Michael Carvalho, her son Ronnie Pereira and his wife Linda, John Pereira and his wife Valerie, her grandson Sean Carvalho and his wife Shanise, her granddaughter Cathryn Carvalho and her boyfriend Niko, her Granddaughter Jade Fernandes and her husband Isaiah, her grandson Cohen Pereira and Fiancé Leiha, her grandson Brendan Pereira, grandson Logan Pereira, grandson Alex Carvalho and his girlfriend Nadia, grandson Ethyn Pereira and his girlfriend Emma, her grandson Michael Carvalho, grandson Jordan Pereira and her three great-grandchildren, Elena Carvalho, Noah Carvalho, and Olivia Fernandes. Jeanne's siblings, her twin sister Janice Read and her husband Cliff, her brother John Budzisz, and her sister Karen Poissant and her late husband Michael also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wanda and John Budzisz. Her love also extended to her grandpups and her great grand kitty, whom she cherished dearly.
