SOMERSET... Jeannette (Ravenelle) Longchamps, 83, formerly of David Street Fall River died Thursday April 12, 2007. She was the wife of Leo O. Longchamps. They had been married for 64 years. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Wilfred and Helene (Lafex) Ravenelle and had been a life long resident of Fall River. She was the stepdaughter of the late Valentine Hospod. Mrs. Longchamps enjoyed reading, line dancing, walking, and exercising. She and her husband spent 17 winters in Florida in their motor home. Survivors include 2 daughters: Deborah Ann Longchamps, of Fall River, and Janice Mae St. Michel and her husband William Lehr of Granada Hills, CA., 2 sisters: Beatrice Riley of Tiverton, R.I., and Barbara Mendonca of Fall River. She was the grandmother of Jacquelyn St. Michel and the late Robin St. Michel. She had several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Helen Zarlenga. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Thomas Street, Fall River.
