FALL RIVER ... Jeannette (Michaud) Matthews, 86, of Horton Street, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 after a brief illness. She was the widow of Cyril Matthews, Sr. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the Edward and Blanche (Fountaine) Michaud and had been a life long resident of Fall River. She was a communicant of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Fall River. She was employed as a seamstress for Various Mills in the city. Survivors include 2 sons: Cyril "Butch" Matthews and Louie Manville both of Fall River, a sister Rita O'Brien of Westport, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours Tuesday 5 - 8 Pm. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday 9AM at the South Coast Funeral Home followed by a 10AM Funeral Mass at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, 529 Eastern Ave., Fall River.
