Jeffrey Galligan, 70, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at his home in Dighton. Born on Tuesday, October 18, 1955, in Taunton, he was the son of the late William Galligan and Jacqueline Galligan.

Jeffrey was a proud United States Marine who was honorably discharged following his tour of duty. He was formerly employed by Amtrak Railroad Company as a signalman for many years.

Jeffrey is survived by his son Eric R. Galligan of Taunton, his two brothers Gregory and Todd Galligan both of Taunton, Massachusetts.

Jeffrey enjoyed fishing and was devoted to his boxer dogs, Lusi, Lulu, and Simone. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on his garden, he was a Dale Earnhardt and NASCAR enthusiast. He loved the tv show honeymooners and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
