It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Paul Mello, who left us peacefully on July 18, 2026. Born in Taunton, MA on April 24, 1952, Jeffrey spent the majority of his life in Wareham, Massachusetts.

Jeffrey is survived by his son, Anthony Simmons, who was his pride and joy. He often reflected on the happiness Anthony brought into his life, nurturing their bond with love, patience, and humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jean Mello.

We encourage all who knew Jeffrey to share their memories and pictures on his memorial page. Every story and snapshot added will serve to honor Jeffrey's life and celebrate the unique individual he was. In sharing, we remember, and in remembering, we keep his spirit alive.
