Jennifer Mary Sylvia, age 52 of Tiverton, RI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was the devoted mother to Michael Anthony Sylvia and fiancé Hannah Harvey, Zachary Joseph Sylvia, his partner Justina Nashed, and loving grandmother to Aubrie Jessica Sylvia and Teagan Louise Sylvia.

Born on September 17, 1972, in Fall River, MA. She was the daughter to the late Donna (Imbriglio) Duggins and the late Edward Lopes. Jennifer was preceded in death by the love of her life, Joseph B. Faria of Fall River, Ma.

She was a life-long resident of Tiverton where she formed many friendships and led a life of kindness and love, always offering a helping hand to anyone in need, holding the gift of making everyone feel seen and understood. She worked at Family Services in Fall River for many years before continuing her work at Roger Williams University, in the Health Services Department, and the Little Compton School Department. In her most recent years, Jennifer found a community of friends within the Westport Social Club where she was a skilled Bar Manager and enjoyed her time singing karaoke.

Jennifer's true life's passion for nature blossomed with her opportunity to learn floriculture while employed at Little State Flower Co. with her farm family, both two legged and four. Jennifer's life was as beautiful and vibrant as the flowers she so lovingly arranged. Jen had a love for pin-up where her true personality shone through photo shoots and her personal style. During the summer months you could find Jen with her toes in the sand, watching the sunset and admiring the moon, or with her Holiday Acres Campground Family. The freedom of the wind in her hair while riding her prized motorcycle, nicknamed "Purple Power", sparked her love of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club. She had a fondness for all things butterflies, lady bugs and bumble bees.

She leaned heavily into her spirituality, finding solace in her beliefs. Always looking for signs from the Universe, whether it was a heart found in a coffee cup or finding a random rock laid upon the ground. Synchronicities in angel numbers and a coincidence in time were things she was naturally drawn to. A lover of all music, Jen enjoyed a good concert, and her adventurous spirit sparked her love for travel. Jennifer was an avid reader and enjoyed getting lost in books. She was a lover of all things quirky and off the beaten path. Jen had a playful spirit, allowing her to create everlasting memories with her Granddaughters from tea parties to Barbies, singing and dancing in the living room, endless hours of playing Legos, diamond art, and Play-Doh; never mixing the colors. She truly had a child-like imagination and could create magic at every slumber party at Grammy's.

Jennifer lived her life embodying her self-proclaimed mantra, "whenever I have to make a decision about anything, I choose the most peaceful path." In addition to her two sons and granddaughters, Jennifer is survived by Patricia Mello her second mom and an extensive family of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA. A celebration of life will follow at the Seaconnet Sportsman's Club, 145 Sakonnet Drive Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
