NEWPORT, RI... Joan Little Geddes of Middletown, RI, age 93, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Newport Hospital. Joan was the loving companion of Reggie Berrington. She was born in Whithorn, Scotland to the late Thomas and Jean (Little) Geddes and later moved to the United States in 1998. Joan was an avid gardener and cared deeply for her family. She spent many years caring for her granddaughter, Lynn, who was the love of her life. Joan was also very active in her community as a member of the Scottish Country Dance Society of the USA and the St. Andrews Society of Rhode Island. In addition to her beloved Reggie, survivors include: daughters, Marie Johnston of Portsmouth, RI and Evelyn Moore of Fort Wayne, IN; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her brother, the late Alex Geddes.
