Obituary

Joan Hall Siteman of Hyannis, MA (formerly of Westwood, MA) passed away at the age of 84 after a courageous battle with brain cancer on June 5, 2026. She was a beloved figure, known for her loving nature, kindness, and generosity that touched the lives of many.

Joan was the cherished wife of the (late) Ronald Timothy (Timmy) and of the (late) Robert Siteman. She was the daughter of the (late) Warren F. and (late) Margaret Egersheim, and a dear sister to the (late) Warren Egersheim and his wife Gerry Egersheim of Roslindale, Ma and Mary Egersheim Fagan of Warwick, RI. She is survived by her sons Ronald Hall, Kenneth Hall and his wife Kristine, Matthew Hall and his wife Annamaria, and stepson Stephen Siteman. Also survived by her grandchildren the (late) Amanda Hall, Cassidy Hall and Rory Hall, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Joan held a master's degree in English from Boston State College. She started her career as a teacher and moved on to a Massachusetts Superior probation officer for 25+ years. After retirement she worked for Boston Catholic Charities of Hyannis, MA where she counseled and assisted those in need. Joan was a true animal lover, especially to her beloved dog Scrappy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday June 13, 2026, 12:00 – 3:00 PM at the home of Carol and John Hearn: 647 West Roxbury Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
